(50 images) - Fishnets and helmets? Its that and a whole lot more. The Arch Rival Rollergirls (ARRG) started their quest to bring flat-track roller derby to St. Louis a little less than a year ago. September 10th marked the date of their first bout at the All American Sports Mall in South County. Appreciation goes to my co-worker, Alyson (aka Shanghai Lily) for introducing me to all this. It’s been really impressive to watch the time, work, and sacrifice they have put into it, and great that their plans are finally coming to fruition. The bout, atmosphere, and girls are fast and fun.
